Thursday my Mom, Grandmother and Great Aunt Vicki (my Grandmother’s youngest sister) and I went for a drive. We planned on going north on I-81 to see the leaves, but by the time we were actually able to make it up north, the leaves were already off the trees. So we decided to drive south. And we ended up at Mount St Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland to visit the National Shrine Grotto of Lourdes.

It was amazing – the leaves were beautiful, the companny was delightful and the setting was just so peaceful. If you ever find yourself just south of Gettysburg, I HIGHLY suggest visiting this Grotto. And you don’t need to be Catholic to visit 🙂

This weekend I went to Hershey Park with my Dad’s sister, Aunt Kit and her 3 Grandsons. I got to ride 5 rides with the 2 older boys, but they were all the major roller coasters we wanted to hit. And we sat in the front row for all the rides!

I didn’t take any pictures with my Canon 50d. I opted to leave it at home because I knew I couldn’t take it on the rides, and I didn’t want to risk it being stolen.

This was my first ride, Fahrenheit!

Read more about this awesome ride on Hershey’s website!

This weekend my Mom and I attended the Round Red Barn’s 100th Birthday Celebration. It was a BEAUTIFUL day to go and explore this barn that I’ve spent my entire life driving past.

This barn is surrounded by corn fields.

Since I’ve moved back to Pennsylvania, I have been able to spend a lot of time with my family. And it just so happens that this weekend we had a HUGE family dinner. We had relatives from Alaska, North Carolina, New Orleans and Alabama in Anselvania for this awesome family dinner. We also celebrated 2 very special birthdays, Preston and Macy!

Preston turned 5!

Macy turned 4!

I also got to hang out with my Aunt Robin and the original 3!

This was my first Jewish wedding ceremony – and I was so happy to be apart of their special day. At some point I’ll upload more pictures from their wedding, but for now I’ll leave you with this detail ring shot!
