My Wedding!

It’s Friday and today’s theme over at Kelly’s Korner is “Show Us Your Wedding Party and Flowers”!!
So we didn’t have a traditional wedding – planned it in 3 weeks, didn’t have the wedding party wear specific colors (just told them to be comfortable) and hired a photographer that was trying to build up his portfolio!
We didn’t have any music playing while we walked down the sidewalk into the gazebo, we didn’t really plan anything we just wanted to get married!
I got married 2 years ago, June 30, 2007 at Short Sands Beach on York Beach, Maine and it was just the most perfect day. The sun was out, but it wasn’t hot…there were many laughs, smiles and good times had by all. I had my sister as my maid of honor and a friend (I now use that term VERY loosely) Brittany as my bridesmaid. Danny had both his brothers as his Best Men (you really can’t choose between the 2 of them but I think Chris signed our marriage license).
Us girls carried bright beautiful bouquets of Gerbera Daisies (my FAVORITE) and the guys didn’t wear any flowers, Danny didn’t want to wear anything girly. He wore khaki shorts with a button down blue shirt and brown flip flops. I managed to get him to wear brown flip flops instead of his Adidas flip flops. I had to draw the line somewhere!
