Thursday my Mom, Grandmother and Great Aunt Vicki (my Grandmother’s youngest sister) and I went for a drive. We planned on going north on I-81 to see the leaves, but by the time we were actually able to make it up north, the leaves were already off the trees. So we decided to drive south. And we ended up at Mount St Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland to visit the National Shrine Grotto of Lourdes.
It was amazing – the leaves were beautiful, the companny was delightful and the setting was just so peaceful. If you ever find yourself just south of Gettysburg, I HIGHLY suggest visiting this Grotto. And you don’t need to be Catholic to visit
